They fixed it quickly and returned it to me like new. All of the scratches were gone, too. Since, then I have pretty much replaced everything myself that is no longer covered by the warranty. I have replaced the board, the battery, the drive again, and the data cable for the hard drive. Same thing happened to my ipod originally. They fixed it quickly and returned it to me like new. I filed on the internet for my product to be replaced. The next day I got a DHL package to send it in! It was only a few days before I got my brand new iPod. Same thing happened to me.
