My dad is a huge fan of his 30GB iPod Video. He uses it all the time to listen to music and various preaching/teaching podcasts. All was well until the wheel/buttons stopped working. I contacted Apple and it was still under the initial one-year warranty. I gave them the information and they sent a DHL return package to send it to them. I was hoping we’d get it back before a big trip at the end of this week, but I was doubtful. I sent it back to them LATE on Thursday. It would have gone out with the last DHL pickup. On Monday, there was new (or extrememly nice refurbished) 30GB iPod delivered to my house.
THAT is how you take care of customers.

Same thing happened to me. I filed on the internet for my product to be replaced. The next day I got a DHL package to send it in! It was only a few days before I got my brand new iPod.

Same thing happened to my ipod originally. They fixed it quickly and returned it to me like new. All of the scratches were gone, too. Since, then I have pretty much replaced everything myself that is no longer covered by the warranty. I have replaced the board, the battery, the drive again, and the data cable for the hard drive.
