A few ago, I had the opportunity to hang out (briefly) with two old friends, Chris and Brad. The three of us went to high school together and were great friends. Unfortunately, as the world moves faster, we don’t see enough of each other. In fact, the last time we were all three together at the same time was at my wedding back in 2000. The reason for this reunion? Brad’s wedding. It’s always fantastic to catch up with good friends. Though it had been years, it was just like old times and we quickly fell back into our old rhythm. That’s one of the marks of a good friendship to me – though you may not see each other frequently, when you do, you are able to pick up right where you left off!

That is so funny. I can see the three of you standing outside the school office just like that. Nothing has changed. Maybe the conversation. Let me see, what did the conversation used to be like…

Another mark of close friendship? Seeing each other more than once every seven years…Maybe. I kid! I kid! When that picture loaded I felt like I had accidently initiated the flux capacitor and traveled back to 1997 when you guys were always hanging at the house. You and Amadon were chatting it up about how cool it is to be able to burn CD’s instead of using floppy’s and Brad was rocking the long hair…Glad to see you guys got to hang…
