Update: Video at the bottom of the post
Our area experienced some major storms today. We had some craziness at our house for sure. First of all, I have to mention the people in Enterprise, AL where the town was hit by a major tornado. The high school was absolutely decimated and so far, there are eight reported deaths there. Our former youth pastor, Derek Williams lives there now, and we should all certainly keep that community in our prayers.
Our house came out of the storm fine, though we did have some major water in our yard. A ditch runs along the back of our property and it completely overflowed into our yard quite a ways. It was higher than ankle-deep all across our back and side yard. Thankfully, our home is slightly elevated, so we don’t have any water sitting against our house, though our neighbors do. Anyways, here are a few pictures. The first three are looking out our back porch:
These next pictures are of the yard from various places:

Finally, this little punk showed up on our sidewalk. Fortunately, I was able to defend our family. He was lucky…I showed mercy after his vicious attack in the second picture and allowed him to leave with his life.
Update: Here are a few videos of our back yard:

Crazy weather man. The videos really show the extent of it.
The news in Enterprise is sad.
