Shaun: You just got a sweet laptop. I am sure that will occupy you for quite some time. The thumb drives to come in very handy though!
David: I’ll try it out for sure. I have used the Linux version regularly in the past. Never tried the Windows version. I have been using Media Player Classic, but am always open to alternatives. Thanks for the heads up!

Check out Portable VLC for media. VLC is one of my fave media players and they just released the portable version recently.
