I am a pretty big fan of chicken. Chicken strips, chicken tenders, chicken parmesan, KFC – I like it all. Lately, I have noticed a disturbing trend at fast food establishments: shaped chicken nuggets.

Uggh.

I don’t want my chicken nuggest shaped like stars, dinosaurs or Dora the Explorer. I want it shaped like, well…chicken. Unless you can show me a chicken with a Dora-shaped wing, I don’t want it.

So, today, I eat at Burger King, largely due to it being the only drive-thru on base. What do I get? Nuggets shaped like crowns. Get it? Burger King? Crown? How cute. How disgustingly, nastily cute.

I know Burger King doesn’t advertise high-quality chicken or anything, but I don’t need any unnecessary reminders of the fact that this chicken was forced through a mold somewhere. At least let me think that is actually real meat. Please?
