It's usually just when sending mail for the church or something like that. Of course, when everyone has everyone's email already (like family or our emails among friends) then you would not want to use it. I recently received a mass email from someone who accidentally put everyone (like 300 people) in the To: line and that spurred me to mention it here. :) Well, it isn’t often I need to use it.
