Hey Everybody!
I only have a second, so this will be short, but…
Charlotte Olivia Rippy was born today at 1:49PM. She weighed 7lbs 2oz. She and Marie are both doing great. Taylor seems to really like his little sister…so far!
I have attached a quick picture for you to see and there are a few more here as well. I’ll put up a lot more in the next couple days…and I’ll write alot more then too!

Congratulations Zack and Marie! I just stumbled upon your website, and I am impressed and enlightened by your thoughtful and intelligent comments (though I was always impressed with your wit). You may remember me from other employment positions such as DynCorp at Maxwell AFB (we lived on the same block in Cubeville).
I have never taken the time to read any blogs (is that an appropriate term for your website?); therefore, I have never posted a message. I hope I don’t break any blogging protocol. Like you, I also like to write. But in fruitless attempts to get my opinions heard, I vented my frustrations on politicians, political columnists, or talk show hosts, and I rarely received a response. In the past couple of years, I have all but given up my writing campaign. Your website has renewed my interest.
I will definitely be reading more from your web site. Keep up the good work!
James
P.S. Based your BQ chicken tenders commentary, it sounds like you’re back at Maxwell. How are things going there?

Hey James!
Yes, I remember you for sure. Good ‘ol Dyncorp days.
I am actually not at Maxwell. I was just there to get fingerprinted for some paperwork. I am at DISA over on Gunter right now. Things are good here. Rodney is here - though downstairs in another department and Karen works on the same team I do. Yoko (from IPO) is over here too.
If you like to write, you should consider a blog. It is actually very simple to setup. If you want to try a hosted one, you could create an account over at wordpress.com or someplace like that. It’s free. Can’t beat the price.
It’s great to hear from you. Hope all is well in your part of the world. Keep in touch!
Zack
